Amazonite is a type of Alkali Feldspar which is a silicate mineral as it contains the the elements silicon and oxygen. Feldspar is a secondary group of the silicate mineral and is a mineral family in its own right

Amazonite is created in both sedimentary and metamorphic rocks when pottassium rich hot silica acid changes from a liquid | gas frormation into a solid compound. The blue | green colour is determined by traces of lead and water that remain in the silica acid.

Amazonite is of primary formation and is associated with the Throat and Heart Chakra
